4. Confirmation of the request: once we have verified that you are the holder, you will receive a confirmation SMS. Within 24 hours you will receive another SMS with a link to activate your eSIM. You have 48 hours to open the link; after that it will expire and you will have to start the process again.

If you use up your attempts, you will have to request a new code - go to www.digi.pt/en/customer-support, use the chat on the website or talk to us on DIGI's social media
If you cannot complete the activation of your eSIM, it may be due to an error in the QR code or because your device is not compatible. Go to www.digi.pt/en/customer-support, use the chat on the website or talk to us on DIGI's social media.

To swap your DIGI eSIM for a physical SIM card, go to www.digi.pt/en/customer-support, use the chat on the website or talk to us on DIGI's social media and request a replacement physical SIM card.

First of all, check that your phone is compatible with eSIM. You can see the list of compatible devices here.

The DIGI eSIM replaces your current card. Once the eSIM is activated, your physical SIM card will stop working.

The DIGI eSIM, or virtual SIM, is an evolution of the physical SIM card you use in your phone. It is built into the device itself and works in the same way as a traditional SIM card.
With the eSIM you avoid having to change cards if it is lost or stolen. What is more, it is a more environmentally friendly option because no unnecessary plastic is used.

No. Just like our mobile service, the DIGI eSIM has no minimum contract period.

The DIGI eSIM is completely free. If you need a replacement (for example, if you lose your phone or restore the factory settings), you pay nothing either.

Before requesting the DIGI eSIM, check that your phone is compatible. You can see the list of compatible devices here.

If, after the activation, you delete the DIGI eSIM or restore the phone's factory settings, you will have to request the replacement eSIM on My DIGI.
